Q:  What supplies will I need to buy?
A:  All you will need are standard school supplies - most everything you need you probably already have at home.  You will need a Bible, and I would recommend an easy-to-understand version such as the International Children's Version or the Good News Bible.

Q:  Must I use / purchase Book 1 and Book 2?
A:
Yes!  Bright Beginnings was designed to be used as a set.  Having the two books makes it easier to do lesson planning as well as teaching.

Q:  Are more books required to teach the lessons?
A:  No.  The lessons contain all the information needed.  However, you can supplement the lesson with a book or other material if you wish.

Q:  Can I use this program if I am not a Christian?
A:   You can.  If you prefer not to do the Bible activities, that is your choice.  The morals and values taught are appropriate for everyone.

Q:  What if I have more than one child?  Do I need to order a separate book for each?
A:
No.  The only thing you would need to do is make copies of the 33 worksheets.

Q:  What if my preschooler is already reading?
A:   There is still much to learn from Bright Beginnings!  You may want to substitute lessons from a reading curriculum for the language portion, or you may want to borrow library books for your child to read that go with the lessons.

Q:  Does Bright Beginnings consist of mostly seatwork?
A:   No.  There are many hands-on activities included in the program.

Q:  Can Bright Beginnings be taught to a group of children at a pre-school or daycare center?
A:   Yes.  The activities are designed for home use, but most of them can be easily adjusted to fit a group situation.

Q:   How long does it take to complete the program?
A:    The program is self-paced.  It contains 36 weeks (4-day weeks) of lesson plans.  These can be spread out over several years if you wish.  Here are some examples:

+ 36 four-day weeks (1 year with 16 weeks off)
+ 72 two-day weeks (2 years with 32 weeks off)
+ 144 days spread out over a period of 1 - 2 years

Q:  What is the average time spent per subject each day?
A:   There are nine subjects each day, with the average amount of time spent per subject being 10 - 15 minutes.  This means that each days activities can be easily completed in two and a half hours or less.

Q:   Can I return Bright Beginnings if I am unhappy with it?
A:     Yes.  You can return Bright Beginnings within 30 days of receipt as long as it is in like-new condition.  (see RETURN POLICY)
